The second attachment of the ACOUSTIC Course brought us back to Ipoh, hosted once again at Hospital Raja Permaisuri Bainun (HRPB). We were delighted to have Dr Foong Kit Weng, Dr Lee Biing Horng, and Dr Ng Shin Ann.
Over the course of four intensive days, participants were immersed in hands-on learning—applying ultrasound in diverse clinical scenarios across echocardiography, transoesophageal echo (TOE), airway assessment, and advanced life support (ALS). These sessions not only enhanced technical skills but also deepened clinical reasoning in real-time patient care.

Across four focused days, participants were immersed in hands-on learning—applying ultrasound in diverse clinical scenarios across echocardiography, transoesophageal echo (TOE), airway assessment, and advanced life support (ALS). The practical nature of the sessions allowed for valuable one-on-one guidance and real-time feedback, fostering both skill development and clinical confidence.
🙏 This marks the final attachment for Batch 1/2025. We hope all candidates found the sessions beneficial and feel more confident in integrating ultrasound into daily clinical practice in the critical care unit.
